This last week was my busiest yet at work. Lots of projects are starting and I have been taking care of many different cell lines. The week went quickly, but it was very tiring!
I finally got a zucchini out of my vegetable garden! Hopefully many more are on the way.
I found this desert rose on clearance at Lowes for $2.50 a few months ago, and this week it had its first bloom.
And the most exciting news is our new car! Since both of our cars are almost 20 years old and falling apart, we have been needing an upgrade for a while now. We decided to get a Chevy Volt because of its electric engine, and when the perfect one came up for sale this week, we didn’t waste any time snatching him up! It is nice having a car whose bumper isn’t held on by zip ties, and window doesn’t get stuck if rolled down too far, and the door handles aren’t snapped off…… 🙂
Well, congrats on the new car lady!! And the zucchini! Both are awesome accomplishments. One day I'll have a garden. My dad keeps talking about having a little garden bed with potatoes and peas and some tiny vegetables and it sounds so exciting to me to be able to grow your own food.
OMG Congrats on the new car. I just found out from your mom! Its so pretty, love that new car smell??? -MaryAnn
Congrats on the zucchini! I would love a little veggie garden to grow some of my own stuff. I imagine it's really rewarding to eat the things you grow.
Huge congratulations on your new car! I hope it lasts you guys for many, many years and hundreds of thousands of miles.
