I’m not really sure what I did the beginning of this week, no photos were taken. It was cold and dark. But this weekend was the start of my birthday celebration !
On Friday I went with my mom and sister to check out a new bakery in town. We got cappuccinos and shared this chocolate chip cookie dough cheesecake bar.
On Saturday I had some friends over for a birthday party. I couldn’t decide what kind of cake I wanted, and then at the grocery store made a last minute decision to make a fruity pebble cake. It was a great decision.
For my party we had a build your own mini pizza buffet, which was a whole lot of fun.
It was a fun birthday weekend and it’s not even my birth DAY yet, so there’s plenty of more fun things to be done!
I hope everyone has a good week!
So many delicious food! Happy birthday! 🙂

Reading this made me hungry XD
Well, happy birthday to you 🙂
The mini pizza buffet look so yum and never have a fruity pebble cake before.
Do you know how to make it?
Build your own pizza is a great idea! Buying pizzas as just not as fun as making your own! Although, I think this November, I'm taking a leaf out of your book and stretching my birthday as far as possible!
Happy Birthday for the day!! (I'll just say it now, in case I miss it!)
No pictures? How can that be? All work & no play, eh? Glad we got to go do something fun & sophisticated together. Exploring our city with my girls is my fav thing to do!
Happy birthday week, darling!

So many yums!!! One could find Fruity (and Chocolate) Pebbles up here when I was a young child, but (much like Captain Crunch with Crunch Berries), I haven't seen them in a couple decades. Your awesome looking cake is making me crave this classic multi-coloured cereal again.
Have a fabulous weekend!
