There are a few more photos from our beach trip that I forgot to share!!

These are from our last night there when we took a walk on the pier at sunset.
The pier is such a lively place at night, it’s a bunch of fun to go and soak up the atmosphere.
A beach store can be found on nearly every block.

I love beach stores, it’s like an explosion of color as soon as you walk in. The walls and even the ceiling are covered in any kind of beach going paraphernalia you can imagine. We bought some beach chairs as soon as we got there, we should have gotten an umbrella too, maybe next time!
I’ll end with this picture of Steve, he felt inspired to dig a hole to put his chair in, and then turned the mound of sand into a giant lizard.

What do you like to do at the beach?

  1. ah, the beach. i just love stuff like this. this is one of my major dreams right here, the long piers, sunsets and rises on the water, colorful beach stores and sitting in a chair in the sand! love it.

  2. Precisely why I had our ‘philanthropic + epiphany’ (=so much to give + vision): wanna see a perfectly cognizant, fully-spectacular, Son-ripened-Heaven?? … yet, I’m not sure if we're on the same page if you saw what I saw. Greetings, earthling. Because I was an actual NDE on the outskirts of the Great Beyond at 15 yet wasn’t allowed in, lemme share with you what I actually know Seventh-Heaven’s Big-Bang’s gonna be like: meet this advanced, bombastic, ex-mortal Upstairs for the most extra-groovy-paradox, pleasure-beyond-measure, Ultra-Yummy-Reality-Addiction in the Great Beyond for a BIG-ol, kick-ass, party-hardy, robust-N-risqué-passion you DO NOT wanna miss the sink-your-teeth-in-the-smmmokin’-hot-deal enveloping, engulfing us. Cya soon, girl…

  3. What the heck was that comment by the sub/dude? Something good I hope? LOL X(
Anyway, I could totally use a beach visit! Though there is hardly any snow here right now, which is really strange. It's also in the 30 degree range, which is also unusual.
I really like the sand lizard. If I were to go to the beach I would do some sort of sand sculpture, too. 🙂

  4. The view from the pier looks so lovely. I can imagine that it must have been such a cleansing and refreshing feeling walking out along there at that time of night with the smell of salt in the air. Twilight/dusk I believe is when the ocean or beach is at its best for appreciating views or taking in the calming atmosphere! And that beach chair in the dug out bit of sand looks quite cosy and I imagine quite cool in the heat, will have to try it out haha!

  5. I Love the beautiful sunset photos, I think I even see some green in there. They are so serene and relaxing just looking at them. Nice grouping with the gradual progression into nighttime THEN the riot of color in the surf shops.
