A cluster of modern houses have appeared on a street corner not too far from my house. I’ve liked these homes ever since I first saw them and often wonder what they look like on the inside. Well, luckily the other week there was a tour of all the modern homes in this area built by Stitch Design Shop so I finally had a chance to see inside..

The interior of the homes were decked out in modern style furniture, and green plants filled the corners.

All the homes featured two story tall ceilings in the living rooms, and usually a staircase could be found wrapping around the outer edge of the room, giving a unique perspective to the space. I bet cats would really like hanging out up there and looking down on everybody!

Some homes had flat roofs with a patio on the rooftop. Which made for a great use of the limited space the houses were built on.

I would love to live in a modern house. But for now, my 1940s house with modern touches will do!

  1. Oh wow, I really like these! I usually prefer older builds that are less open plan, but these are really nice. I like the architecture on the outside too
